What We Collect

• Guest name

  The display name you enter when voting.

• Email address (optional)

  Only if you choose to receive confirmation notifications.

• Vote responses

  Your Yes / Maybe / No answers for each candidate time slot.

• Session cookie

  A random identifier (UUID) stored in your browser to remember your vote.

• Organizer Discord ID

  Used to authenticate event organizers via Discord OAuth.

How We Use It

All collected data is used solely for scheduling coordination. If you provide an email address, it is used only to send you a confirmation notification when the event date is finalized. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.

Data Retention

Event data (including votes, names, and emails) is kept until the participant deletes their response or the event organizer deletes the event. Session cookies expire automatically after 90 days.

Data Sharing

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your information stays within SyncSet and is only visible to other participants of the same event (names and votes only -- emails are never displayed).

Data Deletion

While voting is open, participants can delete their own response from the same browser used to vote. Event organizers can also delete their events, which permanently removes all associated data including votes, names, and email addresses. After voting closes, or if you no longer have access to the same browser, please contact the event organizer or reach out to us directly.
